SECOND OF EXCHANGE, National Bank of Australasia, London, no.3.496 dated 9th June 1892 for ú25.0.0 payable to Gordon Bowring Esq at the bank's Head Office, Melbourne, Victoria, watermark of the bank's name within patterned border; promissory note, handwritten for ú10.0.0 dated 11th November 1811 from William Welsh and Jon Welsh to James Johnstone, impressed 1 shilling VI pence duty stamp featuring Order of the Garter; handwritten note of payment for 5 days work 1/6d, Jan 5th 1826. The second last with heavy foxing but all ink writing clear, very good, the last fine and the first very fine. (3)
