AUSTRALIA MINING, King Solomon's Gold Mines, text in English and French with Australian coat of arms in centre, 18 July 1895, certificates for ten shares, numbers 4284, 4438, 4441/9 (nine consecutive), 4474/83 (ten consecutive), 28 December 1897, certificates for twenty five shares, numbers 4907/9 (three consecutive), all with interest coupons intact. Vertical and horizontal centre fold, very fine. (24)

The King Solomon's Gold Mines were included in the first one hundred claims pegged on the Coolgardie goldfield and are situated on the old Hannan's Road. In 1889 the company purchased the Union Jack mine a short distance away.
