GROUP OF SIX TO BRITISH AMBASSADOR TO BELGIUM: The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Knight Grand Cross (GBE) (type 2) (Civil) star and neck badge; The Most Distinguished Order of St Michael and St George, Knight Commander (KCMG) star and neck badge; 1914-15 Star; British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal 1914-19; Coronation Medal 1953 (EIIR). The first two and last unnamed, Lieut. C.F.A.Warner, R.Fus. on the third and Capt. C.F.A.Warner on fourth and fifth medals. The GBE neck badge without ribbon, nearly extremely fine, the KCMG pair in case of issue, uncirculated, the rest swing mounted, extremely fine.

Together with a set of miniatures for last four medals and the following medallions: 1) City of Bruxelles (Brussels) Medal in bronze (59mm) impressed on reverse, 'A.S.E. Sir C.Warner K.C.M.G. Ambassador of Great Britain to Bruxelles 17.3.1953.', in offical case. 2) State of Gent Medal in bronze (68mm) engraved on reverse, 'to His excellency Sir C.Warner K.C.M.G. Ambassador of Great Britain 15.7.1954', in official case with arms of Gent. 3) Plaque for Brotherhood of Paratrooper Agents in bronze (118mm x 71mm), reverse inscribed, 'Sir Christopher Warner K.C.M.G. 5.11.1954'. 4) Province of Liege Medal in bronze (100mm) impressed on reverse, 'In tribute to His Excellency Sir Christopher F.A.Warner K.C.M.G. Great Britain Ambassador in Belgium 2.12.1954', in official case with arms of Liege. 5) Medal for Inter-Union of Power Stations of Brabant, Interbrabant, in bronze (70mm) by G.A.Brunet, unnamed, in official case. Also, a Scottish crest badge (80mm) of crowned L over a stag all within a wreath, in silver hallmarked for Edinburgh 1881, maker's name R.& H.B.Kirkwood. KCMG: supplement to LG 7/6/1951, p3065, The King has been graciously pleased, on the occasion of the Celebration of His Majesty's Birthday, to give directions for the following promotions in, and, appointments to, the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George to be Members of the Second Class, or Knights Commanders, of the said Most Distinguished Order:- 'Christopher Frederick Ashton Warner, Esq., C.M.G., His Majesty's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary (designate) to Belgium.'
