COLONIAL SHOOTING TROPHY CUP, in hallmarked sterling silver (HMSS), maker Charles Boynton, London 1869, cup supported by three crossed rifles (appear to be long barrel Snider types c1869) with acorn wreath around, all mounted on a circular, timber base, cup engraved, 'Garden Island/Central Social Committee Trophy/Presented To/G.Is. Miniature Rifle Club/For/Half Yearly Championship.' Shields removed from around timber base and enamelled medallion below wreath removed, otherwise good very fine.
