EGYPT, Kingdom of, Ptolemy II, (285-246 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (14.096 grams), Alexandria or Cyprus mint?, obv. head of Ptolemy I to right, dotted border, rev. eagle to left, closed wings, before, **S* over shield, E between legs, around **PTOLEMAIOU BASILEWS*, (cf.S.7769, 7774, SNG Cop.107, Sv. 567, BMC 4). Light grey tone, good very fine and rare.
