LESBOS, Mytilene, c.377-328 B.C., electrum hekte (2.55 gm), Bodenstedt dates 428 B.C., obv. laureate head of Apollo to right, rev. head of female right, hair in sakkos, small coiled serpent behind, (cf.S.4250, Bodenstedt Em. 100A [dies d/n {unlisted combination}],SNG von Aulock 1714 [same rev. die],Boston MFA 1719 [same rev. die],Jameson 1487 [same obv. die]). Very fine and rare.
