ITALY, Bruttium, Croton (Kroton), (420-390 B.C.), silver stater or didrachm (7.79 grams), obv. eagle standing to left, on olive-branch, head raised and flapping its wings, rev. tripod-lebes with neck and three handles, [K]PO to left, in field to right **D*, (S.472, ACNAC Dewing 509, SNG Munich 1451, BMC 79-80, SNG ANS 364-5, Gale 50). Toned, slightly off centred, very fine and rare.
