THRACE, Kallatis, (3rd-2nd century B.C.), silver hemidrachm, (2.48 grams), obv. head of young Herakles to right clad in lion skin, rev. **KALLA* between ear of grain and club on left and bow case on right, (S.1660, SNG Black Sea 230 var, BMC 3.2,). Toned, mild surface porosity, otherwise very fine and rare.
