LOKRIS, Lokris Opuntia, silver triobol, (338-316 B.C.), (2.65 grams), obv. Persephone wreathed head to right wearing single pendant earring and necklace, rev. Ajax son of Oileus, advancing right, with sword and shield decorated with a serpent, broken spear at feet, crested helmet between legs, around **OPONTIWN*, (S.2330, BMC 19, SNG Cop 49). Attractive old cabinet toning, light surface porosity, otherwise very fine and scarce.
