IONIA, Magnesia ad Maeandrum, (c.mid 4th century B.C.), silver diobol (1.60 gm), obv. armed cavalryman, wearing helmet, holding couched lance in his right hand and with his cloak flowing back from his shoulders, riding horse prancing to right, rev. **MAGN /[A]NAZIMBR[OTOS], bull butting left, above a maeander pattern, (S.4480, cf.BMC 8 [noted as a hemidrachm]). Toned, very fine and rare.
