SYRIA, Seleucis and Pieria, Laodicea ad Mare, Caracalla (A.D. 198-217), silver tetradrachm, (13.20 grams), issued 212-216, obv. laureate and draped bust of Caracalla to right, around A**U*T K M A ANT**W*NEINOC CE, rev. eagle standing facing, head to left, wreath in beak, between legs star, around **D*HMA**P*X E**X UP*ATOC TO **G*, (S.2656, Prieur 1165, Bellinger 63). Lightly toned, extremely fine with an attractive forceful portrait and some mint bloom, scarce.
