PELOPONNESOS, Argolis, Argos, AE 16, (260-195 B.C.), (2.54 grams), obv. laureate head of Apollo left, rev. tripod, club to left, archaic heta to right (cf.S.2801, BCD 1127, SNG Cop 70, HGC 700, Nemea 1784-1786); Boeotia, Federal Coinage, AE 17, c. 244-197 B.C., (4.37 grams), obv. three quarter facing head of Demeter or Kore, rev. Poseidon standing left resting on trident, right foot on rock, **[BOIWTWN]* to right, (S.2413, BCD 101, SNG Cop 384). First coin struck from weak dies, otherwise toned with an attractive green patina, very rare. Second coin overstruck on a coin of Antigonos Gonatas, deeply toned, fine. (2)
