EGYPT, Kingdom of, Ptolemy IV, (221-205 B.C.), AE 33 hemidrachm, (33.99 grams), Alexandria mint, issued 221-205 B.C., obv. diademed head of Zeus Ammon to right, rev. eagle to left with closed wings, standing on thunderbolt, in front cornucopiae, around **BASILEWS PTOLEMAIOU, between legs **DI* monogram, (cf.S.7814, Sv.1127, SNG Cop. 202, Pitchfork 50). Toned, very fine and scarce.
