ANCIENT GREEK, including Macedon, Kingdom of, Alexander III, (336-323 B.C.), AE 18 (6.97 grams), Macedonian mint, issued 336-323 B.C., obv. head of Herakles to right wearing lion skin with dotted border, rev. above KE, a club below, **ALEXANDROU* between, bow and bowcase below, (cf.S.6739, Price 309, BMC 309, M.1706, SNG Cop.1060); Peloponnesos, Sicyonia, Sicyon, c.250-200 B.C., AE chalkous, (1.54 grams), obv. dove flying to right, rev. **SI* in olive wreath tied above, (cf.S.2781, Warren Group 4,C,7b, BCD 317.12-3); Baktria, Indo-Greek king, Menander I, (c.165/55-130 B.C.), AE unit 15mm, (2.74 grams), obv. head of elephant right legend around, A below, rev. club, legend around, monogram to right, (S.7616, Bopearachchi S'rie 28-, 28J, SNG ANS 932-3); Corinthia, Corinth, (c.368-355 B.C.), AE 14, (1.55 grams), obv. Pegasos flying left, rev. trident-head upward, (cf.BCD Corinth 222-3); Caria, Knidos, (c.250-210 B.C.), AE 10, (1.23 grams), obv. laureate head of Apollo right, rev. prow to left, (cf.S.4856, BMC 62). Toned, nearly very fine to good very fine, the first with attractive turquoise patina, some very scarce. (5)
