ROMAN REPUBLIC, (c.280-269 B.C.), AE Aes Grave semis (approx., 130 gm), obv. Minerva head to left wearing crested Corinthian helmet, S below, rev. Venus head to left, S below, (S.529, Thurlow-Vecchi 2a, Crawford 14/2; Haeberlin Pl. 39/3, 5). Fine, green earthern patina and very rare.
