TRAJAN, (A.D. 98-117), AE sestertius, Rome mint, issued 101-2, (20.87 grams), obv. laureate head of Trajan to right, drapery on far shoulder, around IMP CAES NERVA TRAIAN AVG GERM P M, rev. Pax enthroned to left, holding olive branch and sceptre, around T R POT COS IIII P P, S C in exergue, (cf.S.3214 [£220 VF], RIC 432, C.636). Tiber patina, flaws on reverse edge area, portrait good very fine, otherwise very fine/nearly very fine and very scarce.
