NERO, (A.D. 54-68), AE dupondius, Rome mint, issued A.D.64., (14.04 grams), obv. radiate head of Nero to right, around NERO CLAVDIVS CAESAR AVG GER P M TR P IMP P P, rev. SECVRITAS AVGVSTI, SC across in field, II in exergue, Securitas seated to right, altar at feet, (cf.S,1967, RIC 193, WCN.198). Attractive brown patina, very fine and rare in this condition.
