MARCUS AURELIUS AS CAESAR, (A.D. 161-180), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 144, (3.19 gm), obv. bare head of Marcus Aurelius to right, around AVRELIVS CAE SAR PII F, rev. around COS II, Honos standing to left, holding branch and cornucopiae, (cf.S.4784, BMC A594, RIC A429a, RSC 110). Lightly toned, very fine and scarce in this condition.
