SEPTIMIUS SEVERUS, (A.D.193-211), silver denarius, (3.41 gm), issued 197, Laodicea mint, obv. laureate head right, around L SEPT SEV PERT AVG IMP [VIII], rev. around PROVIDENTIA AVG, Providentia standing left, holding rod and sceptre, (S.6356, RIC 491a, RSC 592). Good very fine.
