FRANCE, Peace with England, uniface trial piece, 1783, in white metal (41mm) by Duvivier, features female symbolising peace holding an olive branch and cornucopia; Medal of Confidence for two sols in bronze, 1791 (32mm) issued by Monneron Bros, Paris, edge impressed; medal of famous people series featuring Swiss theologian, Peter the pastor of Geneva, AH 1571, in bronze (28mm); Medal for the Translation of the Body of Napoleon I from St Helena to France, 1840, in silver (37mm) by Barre (Forrer Vol1, p129), obverse, laureate head of King Louis Philippe facing left, reverse, a sixteen line inscription. Original suspension loop removed and hole repaired on last medal, otherwise very fine and scarce, the other medals very fine. (4)
