PERU, Spanish Viceroys medal for the Defence of Callao, 1819, in silver (39mm) with loop mount, by A.Davalos, obverse, ship in flames left, three other ships at anchor right, two small vessels in foreground, inscription 'Premio a la Fidelidad Y al Valor' around, reverse, inscription 'Defensa/Del Callao/En Marzo Y/Octobre/de 1819' within closed wreath. Nearly extremely fine.
