ROWING MEDAL, 9ct gold fob medal (11.09 grams; 43mm), loop top suspension, central rowing scene over a crossed-oars motif, presented to John Campbell Anderson, reverse inscribed, 'D.B.C./Single Sculls/First/J.C.A./1896', hallmarked for Birmingham, maker J.F.; Cigarette case, (110mm x 80mm), silver plated, presented to J Anderson, probably Egyptian manufacture, engraved in niello with a scene of a felucca, the reverse depicting a detailed map of the Iraq Petroleum Company pipeline from Haifa to Kirkuk and the date 1931-1934. Very fine. (2)
