SECOND OF EXCHANGE, National Bank of Australasia, London, no.3.496 dated 9th June 1892 for £25.0.0 payable to Gordon Bowring Esq at the bank's Head Office, Melbourne, Victoria, watermark of the bank's name within patterned border; promissory note, handwritten for £10.0.0 dated 11th November 1811 from William Welsh and Jon Welsh to James Johnstone, impressed 1 shilling VI pence duty stamp featuring Order of the Garter; handwritten note of payment for 5 days work 1/6d, Jan 5th 1826. The second last with heavy foxing but all ink writing clear, very good, the last fine and the first very fine. (3)
