ELIZABETH II, trial decimal halfpenny, 1963, a uniface trial of the rev. by C. Ironside, in bronze, rev. Welsh dragon with arrow-shaped tail, edge plain, 17mm, (1.80gm), (F 796b). Extremely fine with much original colour, of the highest rarity with arrow-shaped tail.
Ex Dix Noonan Webb (DNW), Auction Sale December 15, 2005 (lot 425), previously provenance stated as being bought from Spink, Auction No. 140, 16 November 1999, (lot 585 part), where described as F 796.
