Tpr J.H.Warby. N.S.W.Lancers. on first medal, N409035 J.H.Warby on second and third medals, last medal unnamed as issued. First medal engraved, second and third medals impressed. Court mounted, good very fine.
Awarded the Coronation Medal as a member of the NSW Detachment of the Australian Coronation Contingent. Joseph Hillier Warby, of Moss Vale, born 09Aug1880, (West Camden Half Squadron) 4th Draft to South Africa; appt 2nd Lieut, NSW Lancers 01Jan1903. With research including copy of medal roll showing clasp entitlement.
