NEW ZEALAND, Troopship Card Currency, issued on the M.S. Sobieski for threepence, c1940, white cardboard, 'three pence New Zealand Currency redeemable only during the voyage for which issued' No. 92, stamp dated on back 22.1.1940, together with circular red ship stamp (Sutherland 273 [p193-4]; Robb p54; Schwan-Boling 4574 [illustrates this example]). Extremely fine and very rare.
