ITALY, Campania, Neapolis (Naples), silver didrachm or nomos, 275-250 B.C., (6.95 gm), obv. head of nymph left wearing diadem and earring, filleted thyrsus behind head, rev. man-headed bull walking right, head facing, crowned by Nike flying right above, below **IS*, exergue line, and below **NEOPOLITWN*, (cf.S.307, Sambon 519, HN 586, cf.SNG France 855, Series 156 Atti VII, BMC 123, SNG ANS 409); AE 20, (4.38 gm), obv. head of Apollo laureate to left, before **NEOPOLITWN*, rev. man-headed bull walking to right, crowned by Nike flying right above, below plain, **[SI]* in exergue, (cf.S.557, HN 589, Talierco Group IIIa, cf.Sambon 686, SNG Paris 1013, cf.BMC 222-4). Toned, good fine, first coin pitted, possibly plated. (2)
