ACARNANIA, Anaktorion (Colony of Corinth), (350-300 B.C.), silver stater, (8.27 gm), obv. Pegasos with pointed wing flying to right, AN monogram below, rev. head of Athena to right in Corinthian helmet over a leather cap, tripod within wreath behind head, (cf.S.2249, Calciati 30 [p.491-2], SNG Cop.289, BMC 33). Very fine or better, rough surface, rare.
