FAUSTINA SENIOR, wife of Antoninus Pius, posthumous issue (died A.D.141), silver denarius, (3.41 grams), issued after 147, Rome mint, obv. draped bust to right of Faustina, around DIVA FAVSTINA, rev. Vesta standing left holding palladium and sceptre, around AVGV STA, (cf.S.4587, cf.BMC p.62*, RIC 369, RSC 109). Lightly toned, very fine.
