D N MAG MAX[IMVS P F AVG], diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Magnus Maximus to right, rev. around [REPA]RATIO REIPUB, Maximus standing left raising kneeling female figure, (S.4204, RIC 32, C.3). Attractive dark brown patina, very fine and rare.
