FRANCE, D'Entrecasteaux Voyage 1931, in bronze (50mm), by Anie Moroux, Paris, obverse, '1737-1793 D'Entrecasteaux', reverse, 'Marine Nationale Francaise, aviso d'Entrecasteaux Lance a Port'de-Bouc le 7 Juin 1931'. Extremely fine.

Antoine Raymond Joseph de Bruni D'Entrecasteaux (1739-1793) a French navigator who explored the Australian coast in 1792 while seeking traces of the lost expedition of the 'La Perouse'.
