Ex Mark Marshan Collection. This instrument was in the possession of Mark Marshan, as the civil engineer in charge of all excavations, with his new method of rock blasting, used in the construction of the first section of the Warringah Expressway from the Sydney Harbour Bridge to Cammeray in the 1960s.
