S.S.BRITISH Trade, World Trade Exhibition 1922, enamel badge mounted on the lid of a small brass container, inside is a carved ivory image of the Arc de Triomphe set into a brass, oval frame as a brooch. Very fine. (2)

In 1922 a London syndicate fitted out the RMS Orontes and renamed it SS British Trader to be a travelling British trade exhibition to tour the world advertising the manufactures and other products of Great Britain and the Empire.
