EDWARD VIII, 1936 dated Crown 'Patina' retrospective pattern series. Obverse: Portrait of King right by Percy Metcalfe. Reverse: crowned shield of arms within garter. Plain Edge, 8 different metal types: 0.925 silver, silver coated piedfort, golden alloy, gold-coated copper piedfort (Barton's metal), nickel silver, aluminium, copper piedfort, bronze coated copper piedfort (this last a unique experimental piece). Uncirculated. (8)
Only 12 of each made with plain edge.
