EGYPT, Kingdom of, Ptolemy XII, Neos Dionysos, (80-51 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, Alexandria mint, struck year 8 = 74-73 B.C., (13.42 gm), obverse, head of Ptolemy to right with aegis, reverse, eagle to left on thunderbolt with closed wings, to left LH, to right **PA*, around **BASILEWS PTOLEMAIOU**, (cf.S.7946, Sv.1855, SNG Cop.381, Pitchfork -); Kingdom of, Ptolemy VI, (180-145 B.C.), AE 27, tetrobol, issued 180-170 B.C., (21.34 gm), Alexandria mint, obverse, female head (Isis) to right, with long curls, dotted border, reverse, eagle to left with open wings, standing on thunderbolt, around crude **BASILEWS PTOLEMAIOU*, to left monogram of **PA*, (S.7903, Sv.1384, SNG Cop. 279 ff., Pitchfork 80). First coin with small flan, weak in places, fine and very scarce, second coin very good. (2)
