AUGUSTUS, (27 B.C. - A.D. 14), AE dupondius, Rome mint, issued 15 B.C. by L. Naevius Surdinus, (12.88 g), obv. AVGVSTVS / TRIBVNIC / POTEST in three lines within oak wreath, rev. L SVRDINVS III VIR A A A F F around large SC, (S.1665, RIC 384, BMC 141, CBN 467). Off centred on both sides, golden patina, very fine and rare.
