DOMITIAN, issued as Caesar under Vespasian, (A.D. 81-96) silver denarius, issue of A.D. 76, (3.32 g), obv. CAESAR AVG F DOMITIANVS, laureate head to right, rev. COS IIII above, Pegasus walking right, (S.2637, RIC 238, RSC 47). Lightly toned, very fine, scarce.
This issue is interesting in that the reverse copies a piece issued by Augustus in 19 B.C.
