NSW POLICE HELMET PLATE (EVIIR), 1901-1910, in white metal. Heavy oxidation, some buckling, lugs intact, otherwise fine.

This badge was found by metal detector near some rocks on the crest of a wooded ridge south of Mudgee, NSW. Obviously lost by a working policeman while on duty. The badge was about twenty centimetres deep in soft earth, hence its oxidised state.

Estimate / sale price does not include buyer's premium (currently 22% including GST) which is added to hammer price. All bids are executed on the understanding that the Terms & Conditions of sale have been read and accepted. For information on grading and estimates please refer to the Buying at Auction advice.
