ROYAL HUMANE SOCIETY SILVER MEDAL, 1778, large size (51mm), inscribed on reverse, 'Mr. Saml Patten/Restored/Mary Powell/March 8.1778', in a fitted case with gold impressed inscription on lid, 'Given To/George Harkness Buchanan/Gt. Gt. Grandson Of/Samuel Patten/October 1885'. A few edge bumps, otherwise good very fine.
