THE BANK OF AUSTRALASIA, proof one pound on card, uniface, black and white, Ipswich, 14th July 1863, imprint of Perkins, Bacon & Co. London, Patent Hardened Steel Plate., 'June 19th 1863' added in pencil in lower margin, SPECIMEN stamped below in 'Manager' area (MVR.2a). Some staining, rough margins, otherwise very fine and rare.
