CONVICT TOKEN, impressed, 'I SMITH' on a Great Britain cartwheel penny, 1797. Host coin very good, impression extremely fine.

Isabella Smith was convicted at London Goal Delivery in 1822 to a term of seven years. She was one of 108 convicts that departed England in November 1822 aboard the convict ship Mary Ann, arriving at New South Wales on 1 July 1823 and then Van Diemen's Land.
