WILLIAM AND MARY, proof halfpenny, 1694, struck in copper on a 31mm flan, 2mm thick, (9.92g), obverse conjoined busts right, the King cuirassed, around GVLIELMVS. ET. MARIA toothed border both sides, reverse Britannia seated left on globe, with shield, spear and spray of leaves, date in exergue, BRITAN NIA legend around, (S.3452, Peck 612 EXR). Light adjustment marks on obverse, nearly extremely fine and very rare.
