USA, 1915 S PANAMA-PACIFIC EXPOSITION COMMEMORATIVE SILVER HALF DOLLAR. Brilliant, uncirculated.

In a slab by Smart Collect as MS60. Mintage was 27,134. Commemorates the exposition held in San Francisco in 1915 and celebrates the opening of the Panama Canal. The coins were produced at the San Francisco mint and sold for $1 each during the exposition. A representation of Columbia with the Golden Gate as a background is on the obverse.
