USA, 1920 MAINE CENTENNIAL COMMEMORATIVE SILVER HALF DOLLAR. Toned, uncirculated.

In a slab by PCGS as MS66. Mintage was 50,028. Commemorates the 100th anniversary of Maine and were to be issued in Portland at the centenary celebrations but were received too late for this event and were sold by the state treasury for many years. The obverse depicts the arms of the State of Maine. DIRIGO on the arms means 'I direct'.
