GROUP OF EIGHT: Distinguished Flying Cross (GRI); 1939-45 Star; Africa Star; Italy Star; Defence Medal 1939-45; War Medal 1939-45 (no emblem but entitled to MID); General Service Medal 1918-62 (GVIR Indiae:Imp), - clasp Palestine 1945-48; Air Efficiency Award (GVIR coinage head Ind:Imp). The year 1943 on the reverse lower arm of the first medal, second to sixth medals unnamed, Act.Wg.Cdr. D.C.Sandeman. R.A.F. on seventh medal and Flt.Lt. D.C.Sandeman. R.A.F.V.R. on last medal. The first medal engraved, both named medals impressed. Swing mounted, very fine.
