HMAS AUSTRALIA, on-board, hand written, log-style record of ship's daily location and any special activities, noted 18 June 1930 Sto Williamson died, 19 March 1932 Bridge Opening, 26 January 1930, 1933 and 1934 Anniversary Day (from 1946 this was renamed Australia Day), covers all ship's activities from its maiden voyage from England to the Australian Station in 1928 and its movements in Australia and throughout the Pacific region until 30 November 1934; also included is an H.M.A.S.Australia seaman's cap tally band with gold thread on black. Good very fine. (2)
