MEXICO, Philip II, (1556-1598), silver cob four reales, Mexico City Mint, (13.24 g), assayer O, not dated, but issued before assayer F and struck from early in the period 1571-1598, (Cayon 3572 [type 58, note assayer O and mint mark cuts the circular line around shield], Calico [CC] Type 244, No.405, KM.36). Polished, unusual with almost complete legends, nearly very fine, weak in places as usual, very rare as such.
