USA, SCULPTOR'S GUILD MEDALLION, undated, uniface (25.5cm) cast in plaster on a square tablet (28cm), the medallion then bronze coloured, design of a naked and kneeling man holding a mallet ready to strike a chisel. Some chipping to medallion and subsequent loss of colour, otherwise very fine.
The Sculptor's Guild was founded in New York, USA in 1937.
