MILITARY GENERAL SERVICE MEDAL 1793-1814, - five clasps - Vimiera, Corunna, Vittoria, Pyrenees, Toulouse. J.Nowell, 50th Foot. Impressed. The clasps depressed and the medal with some rim bumps and nicks from wearing, otherwise nearly extremely fine.
Ex Glendinings May 1920; Baldwin 1957; Spink November 1978.
Jacob Nowell, War Office records state 'wounded Corunna & in Spain.' Medal and clasp entitlement confirmed.
