Sapr. G.Hill. R.E. on both medals. First medal engraved, second medal impressed. Swing mounted, nicely toned, extremely fine.
George Hill, bricklayer, age 19, born at Glasgow, Scotland; joined Royal Engineers 10Mar1898 as a sapper; passed Telegraphy (Line) Skilled class 04Jan1899; medal entitlement confirmed; Disch.09Mar1910.
